“How come there are suddenly SO many trans people around?”
I won’t lie, this question comes up A LOT.
When it does I like to whip out this beauty…
It was created to illustrate the prevalence of left-handedness. We all know that left handedness is a natural part of human variation. As awareness of that fact increased, so did the numbers of left handed people – they were always there, they just didn’t make themselves known due to the fact that they were stigmatised for being different…
The same goes for being trans!
