TransMission PR provides transgender awareness and inclusion consultancy to brands, organisations, individuals and comms professionals. Our mission is simple: To positively influence the narrative for trans people in the UK, by ensuring trans and non-binary people are an integral part of the conversation.

Our role is to insert trans voices into the mix from the very beginning, so that PR, marketing and advertising campaigns become inherently inclusive, rather than inclusivity being an afterthought.

To meet client demand, we are currently looking to expand our network of trans and non-binary communications professionals. We operate a virtual model, providing flexible opportunities in line with client need.

We want to create a network brimming with gender diverse communications pros who are:

hungry to make a difference
savvy enough to understand the obstacles that exist, and
confident enough to guide clients in the right direction

Our role is to help brands to avoid the pitfalls of getting it wrong so that they can enjoy all the benefits of getting it right.

Agencies can talk about diversity and inclusion until they are blue in the face but without accurate representation from those people they are trying to reach, true understanding and insights can be challenging to come by and effective communications campaigns can fail to stand up to scrutiny.

We want to foster an environment where your first-hand experience and expertise is not only relevant, it is actively sought out by our clients.

We believe that brands, organisations and communications agencies must join the conversation, but that they can only do so from an informed position. We help them to be able to confidently stand up for what they believe without being fearful of making a mis-step.
